Blue Phoenix 

Blue Phoenix recycles incinerator bottom ash (IBA) and extracts ferrous and nonferrous metals, while producing a final clean mineral for reuse such as aggregates. As the world’s largest IBA processor, we achieve operational excellence through our proven processes, professional teams and the highest commitment to health, safety and the environment. Blue Phoenix is dedicated to developing the technology for MIBA Filler, to be branded as Urbyon®. This project is creating products for the use in precast concrete in the Netherlands starting with the application in semi-dry concrete. 

AVR

AVR specialises in the processing of various types of residual waste: waste water, paper pulp residue, household and commercial waste, waste wood and hazardous residual waste. We continuously strive for maximum recovery of energy and materials from this residual waste through effective, efficient and safe business operations. We ensure that metals are recycled and minerals are used in (road) construction. We supply (sustainable) steam, heat and electricity to our environment and thus prevent the use of fossil fuels. In this way, AVR makes an important contribution to achieving the national and European climate and energy goals. And all this with residual waste that is often seen as worthless by others.

AVR has two locations where energy and raw materials are extracted from residual waste: Duiven and Rozenburg. There are four transhipment stations in The Hague, Utrecht and the heart of Rotterdam. The central location of the locations is very favorable, both for the waste suppliers and for the customers of energy and raw materials. Residual waste is supplied as much as possible via the water, and where that is not possible, by road.

Kijlstra Bestrating

Kijlstra Bestrating was founded in 1900 as a contracting company. In 1950 the company started with the production of concrete products like pavements and sewing pips. At present, Kijlstra Bestrating has established an excellent reputation and a good position in the market. Kijlstra Bestrating has two concrete production units in the Netherlands, Drachten & Veendam. Kijlstra Bestrating is a family-owned company.
